Dear Sisters and Friends,

The other day I created an invitation for the General Circle Blog.  At the beginning of the blog, I asked the question, “How important are you?”.  As I finished that writing, I began to think about the question more.

As sisters and Saints, we are often reminded what a crucial role we play in the lives of others.  We are told that it is our responsibility to share our testimony with others.  We are encouraged to be concerned for the souls of men and women everywhere.  Yes, all these things are part of how we should conduct ourselves as members of The Church of Jesus Christ and they are our responsibilities.

The idea that touched me is the fact that we are important just for being ourselves.  Once you’re baptized, the attention turns away from you.  I was drawn to consider your attributes and value. I don’t want to puff you up in pride because humility is an attribute, but I think you need to recognize the immense value you have to Jesus Christ.

Your presence at events and meetings can uplift and encourage others.  Those with whom you come in contact view your walk with God.  I encourage you to accept the position you hold in the kingdom of God and want you to realize your value to your fellow circle sisters, as well.  In my life, many times, the comments and advice of my sisters have led me to the path God has chosen for me.

Accept that you are priceless and use your value to testify to Christ’s goodness,
